Le Corbusier in India

The last two days, I've been planning for next month's vacation... I'm going to India, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam so I have a lot of reading and planning to do since the dates are getting closer.. I'm so excited! All recommendations are very welcome, so don't hesitate to message me!

Here a little preview of Chandigarh, a city I'll be visiting for the second time.

Chandigarh, a city situated north of Delhi at the foothills of the Himalayas, is the capital of the states Punjab and Haryana. It is designed by the famous French architect Le Corbusier back in the fifties. Something funky - but cool - about Chandigarh is the way Le Corbusier has divided the city into 47 sectors, whereby there is no sector 13 and the sum of two sectors which face each other is a multiple of 13.

The Rock Garden - Chandigarh, India

The Rock Garden is definitely worth a visit when you're in Chandigarh. The garden was secretly built by Nek Chand in his spare time in the late 50's with all kinds of waste and thrown away items (for example, cups, plates, bracelets, tires, electricity plugs, etc.).
